Purring

She used to squash in between us
and purr all night, loud and deep.
Now she sprawls in the space
where his pillow used to be.
When I reach to stroke her
she licks my fingers, and lately
she is beginning to purr again, a little.

    smiles...heart warming...our kitten has started sleeping with us after the death of his sister...she was an older cat and died right before christmas...and was mourning the last couple weeks...not eating and getting in fights...but is starting to some around...
