This is a facebook group administered by Michael Dylan Welch.
It is also the practice of writing a haiku a day (the shortest poetic form) during February (the shortest month) in response to daily prompts.
There is provision for continuing the practice every month, with prompters changing (by invitation) every month. So far I personally join in only during February.
