Flowers x 3

In Day 20 of the April Poem A Day challenge at 'imaginary garden with real toads' the prompt is to write three short pieces on flowers, three lines or fewer.  I've posted them to this blog as I regard them all as 'small stones'. The first two are also haiku: one with the traditional 5-7-5 syllables, the other a short-long-short 'English language haiku'. I have used my own photos.

I'm also linking this post to Poets United's Poetry Pantry #447

blare bright orange against grey
twigs, palings, winter

he likes dogs, cars,
growing orchids

roses red for passion
orange for joy
