Three haiku

I stop sneezing
the same day the sun returns –
has winter gone?

my black cat
called Moon Goddess
lies in bright sun

  1. Hi Rosemary - I think you still have a bit of winter left (and I hope to have a bit more of summer). I like that your Moon Goddess worships the sun. That's a great photo of you on the sidebar.

    1. *Smile.* Yes, we do have some winter left, but are having a sudden warm spell right now – after a very cold one. I fear we must return to the cold, but how lovely if we didn't.

As you may have seen on facebook, her name is actually Selene, but the translation works better for the haiku. :-)

    1. In fact it's Selene, and that is what Selene means. I think it suits her. :)

  8. Moon Goddess a.k.a. Selene looks to be a perfect companion for you, real laid back.
For your sake I hope the real cold doesn't come back anymore this year. Spring is much kinder than Winter.
