Oh, it's Sunday!

Oh, it's Sunday! Lazy coffee, sunshine through the curtains, the cats fed and dozing nearby. There are brand-new poems to read on the web. There are library books waiting, piles of colour on my dining-room table. There's a new DVD to watch. There are friends to talk to by phone or email, at my leisure and at length. I look away from the ache in my heart. No, I am not lonely!

(Starting a new habit of small stones on Sundays rather than daily.)

  2. Your words are cheerful, Rosemary - your life is full. I'm glad you'll share a stone on Sundays - I hope to do so, too.

    1. Many thanks. Yes, he died in September. Widowhood is quite a journey. I try to just keep observing the process - and writing helps.

  7. Oh, I am so sorry, Rosemary. I was reading you before and then life got in the way. I am so sorry for the death of your husband.

Thank you for subscribing to my blog. I have linked my last to dversepoets....though I love the group! I'm involved , over my head, trying to finish up (and rewrite...aghhh) a novel, "A Kapitany" and "The Nightingale's Song". I am a mother cat with not enough teats right now.

I will keep in touch. You are a love.
