Communication from a Friend

She sends me a song about holding on.
She sends me the image of a tree surrounding me:
a big trunk; strong roots going deep in the soil.
I won't fall, she says, no matter how windy the storm.
She doesn't realise that she has also told me
exactly how much I'll be buffeted and shaken.

  1. This reminds me of the praise that there are two sides to every coin, or two sides to every story...
Not every strong tree has deep roots, and some scrawny looking ones have roots miles deep.
Thanks for your visits and comments.
I'm not yet a tweeter, twitter or Face-booker.
    Be well ~J
Sending good thoughts for you and all those around you.
