In this overlap zone
between tropic and temperate
periwinkles bloom beside hibiscus,
clover grows in the grass
under the frangipani.

    I think I'd like it there - my zone is off the charts in terms of plant growth. I have to experiment with what will grow in our short season. Did you change your profile photo? I like it.

    I actually love the tropics best of all, but this sub-tropical locality is very pleasant indeed.
