I open ...
I open my door to a cool clear morning – the mountain carved, sharp-edged.

Sshh! Don't tell everybody how beautiful Australia is. Tell them about the crocodiles, snakes and sharks, with spiders and insects everywhere and the heat of course.
and what a spectacular view. by the way, those are not the Blue Mountains, are they? ah, i must get back to writing 'small stones'. i seem to lose the urge to write lately. :(
They are surely blue enough, aren't they? At least on this occasion. But no, these are much further north than that: the Border Ranges between NSW and Queensland.
